Action “Les! Dabro! Paradak!” brought together almost 58,000 participants across the country

From March 16 to April 18, 2026, the republican action “Les! Dabro! Paradak!”, organized by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus. The initiative has become a large-scale public event aimed at developing respect for natural resources and strengthening ecological culture.

Almost 58,000 people took part in the action — representatives of government agencies, youth organizations, local communities, volunteer initiatives and initiative citizens. Thanks to joint efforts:

• Over 3.3 thousand hectares of new forest crops were created.
• About 2.2 thousand hectares of existing forest plantations were added.
• More than 1.5 thousand cubic meters of garbage and 5.4 thousand cubic meters of clutter were removed from the forest fund.
• 150 recreation areas and 250 objects of historical and memorial significance ‑ obelisks, monuments, military graves — were restored.
• More than 30 memorial alleys were laid out.

Holding the republican action “Les! Dabro! Paradak!” contributed to the formation of a responsible attitude towards natural resources, the creation of a comfortable environment for future generations, as well as to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of the Sustainable Development Goals 12, 13, 15 and the other SDGs.
