Business games to achieve the SDGs were held at the School of Active Citizens

On November 25, 2021, business games dedicated to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development were organized within the framework of the School for Active Citizens with the support of the Education for Sustainable Development Coordination Center and the SDG 4 Youth Ambassador.

The business games were attended by pupils of the 9th and 10th grades of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School №164 in Minsk» and the State Educational Institution «Secondary School №152 in Minsk». In the course of joint activities, the students got acquainted with the history of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), learned about the national architecture for managing the process of achieving the SDGs and the activities of the SDG Youth Ambassadors.

Group work was dedicated to SDG 2 «Zero hunger», SDG 4 «Quality education», SDG 5 «Gender equality», SDG 10 «Reduce inequality», SDG 14 «Preserve marine ecosystems».

Delving into the issues of the SDGs under consideration, the guys discussed the most pressing issues for achieving the SDGs, proposed youth initiatives for each SDG, and also told what contribution each of them can make, including: developing environmentally friendly habits; conducting a series of thematic trainings and environmental campaigns; participation in charitable and volunteer projects.
