Youth ambassadors of the SDGs took part in the development of environmental projects

On June 29 and 30, 2022, the Youth Ambassadors of SDGs 14, 16 and 17 took part in the ECO-marathon organized by the Republican Center for Ecology and Local History and the United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef) in the Republic of Belarus.

SDG Youth Ambassadors helped schoolchildren develop environmental projects, talked about the Sustainable Development Goals, answered the most pressing social and environmental issues.

At the end of the ECO-marathon, more than 10 environmental projects were prepared and received funding.

The ECO-marathon contributes to the formation of environmentally friendly behavior, the development of an entrepreneurial mindset, as well as the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
