The Youth Ambassadors of the Sustainable Development Goals, together with the United Nations Children’s Fund in Belarus (UNICEF), have prepared a video reminding each of us of the interconnection of all 17 SDGs and the importance of achieving them.
In 2015, all countries of the world, including Belarus, committed to achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, developed by the UN General Assembly as “a blueprint for achieving a better and more sustainable future for all.” All goals are interconnected, as are the tasks within them: achieving one is impossible without achieving the others. For example, it is impossible to solve the problem of poverty without solving problems in the field of health, education, economics, social protection and many others. The Sustainable Development Goals concern every person because they cover all areas of human life: from the food we consume to the park in our neighborhood where we like to walk. It is important to understand the relationship and move even in small steps towards achieving the Goals.
