On December 1-2, 2022, the conference «Health and well-being of people living with HIV and people vulnerable to HIV in the face of modern challenges» was held in Minsk, timed to coincide with World AIDS Day, which is celebrated annually on December 1.
During the conference, the participants discussed the epidemiological situation of HIV infection, the main tasks of HIV prevention, diagnosis and treatment, new challenges in the fight against HIV infection, the role of social communication in the treatment and prevention of HIV and other issues. As of November 1, 2022, more than 24 thousand people live in Belarus with HIV-positive status, of which 87% are receiving antiretroviral therapy.
Raising public awareness of key prevention measures and methods for diagnosing HIV/AIDS, as well as creating a social environment that excludes stigmatization in relation to HIV/AIDS, makes an important contribution to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 3, 10 and other SDGs.
On November 23, 2022, the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank hosted a seminaer-workshop «Education for sustainable development: a methodological toolkit».
During the seminar, the participants discussed the content and specifics of the formation of global competence as one of the components of functional literacy, the possibilities of the methodology of education for sustainable development as a tool for the formation of global competence of representatives of all generations, the conditions for creating an ESD environment in an educational institution, methodological characteristics of a number of techniques that can be used to form global competencies and competencies in the field of sustainable development.
The establishment and development of an education system for sustainable development makes an important contribution to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

On November 29, 2022, a press conference was held in Minsk on the topic «Ecological tourism: promising areas for development».
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Forestry, the Department of Tourism of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism, the Republican Unitary Enterprise «Belgosokhota».
During the press conference, the participants discussed the directions for the development of ecological tourism in the Republic of Belarus, in particular, infrastructure development, the creation and renewal of green routes and ecological paths, ways of ecological education of the population, opportunities for the development of inclusive ecological tourism, etc.

In November 2022, 19 iron removal stations are planned to be put into operation in the settlements of the Gomel region.
In total, it is planned to build 55 iron removal stations and connect 4 settlements to water supply systems with drinking water in Belarus in 2022, which will provide consumers with high-quality water supply at the level of 97.1%.
Providing the population with quality water supply makes an important contribution to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goal 6 and other SDGs.

From October 1, 2022, registration for participation in the Republican professional competition for achievements in the field of digitalization and digital transformation «Leaders of the Digital Economy – 2022» is open. The organizer of this project is the business support center «Business Media».
Enterprises and organizations of various sectors of the economy, customers, developers and integrators, residents and non-residents of the Republic of Belarus, who have implemented IT products, IT projects, solutions with a proven economic effect on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, are invited to participate in the competition.
Within the framework of the competition, three groups of nominations were singled out: for digital products, implemented projects and leading companies in the field of digitalization and digital transformation.
Registration of participants will last until December 10, 2022.

On November 24-25, 2022, within the framework of the International Economic Forum «Mill of Success» in Mogilev, with the support of UNDP, the III Mogilev Regional Forum on Sustainable Development is being held in the Republic of Belarus.
The program of the forum provides for summing up the results of the regional competition of best practices for the implementation of the Strategy for Sustainable Development of the Mogilev Region for the period up to 2035, as well as holding two plenary sessions «Green Transition to Inclusive and Sustainable Growth. Circular Economy and Innovative Green Financing Mechanisms» and «Regional Sustainable Development of the Mogilev Region». International and regional trends in the development of the circular economy, experience in implementing the principles of the green economy and promoting the circular economy, a roadmap for the transition to a circular economy, as well as regional experience in developing and implementing sustainable development strategies, initiatives and projects will be presented to the participants of the forum.

On November 24, 2022, a Responsible Business Forum will be held in Minsk, where representatives of Belarusian companies will share their experience in implementing projects in the field of sustainable development.
During the event, the Belarusian business will demonstrate the contribution that entrepreneurs make to the social and environmental development of the country. Participants will talk about practices in the field of ecology, charity, volunteering, support for local communities, certain vulnerable segments of the population, share their achievements in the field of social responsibility and present the results of recent projects, as well as discuss the challenges and the need to develop corporate sustainability.

On November 11, 2022, within the framework of the project «School for Responsible Behavior and Consumption», Youth Ambassador SDG № 7 Martynova Vera conducted a quiz «Affordable and clean energy» for grades 7-8 of the SEE «Grodno City Gymnasium named after A.I. Dubko».
In the course of teamwork, schoolchildren got acquainted with the rules for the rational use of energy resources and measures that contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 7.

On November 18, 2022, a meeting of the Council for Sustainable Development was held in Minsk. During the event, the participants discussed the results of the work of the Council for Sustainable Development for 2021-2022 and work plans for 2023, implementation by the Republic of Belarus of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the presentation by the Republic of Belarus of the second Voluntary National Review at the meeting of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development in New York, as well as the results of an expert due diligence assessment of financing under government programs taking into account the Goals sustainable development, etc.
