On May 14, 2022, the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank hosted the final of the XIV Youth Media Festival «Voices of the Young for Sustainable Development».
In 2022, 72 works (videos, posters, infographics) by students and teachers from 37 educational institutions from all regions of the country were presented for participation in the media festival. According to the results of the expert evaluation, 20 media products participated in the final. Diplomas of the laureate of the media festival and valuable gifts were awarded to 14 teams and 1 individual participant.

In April 2022, the Rural Entrepreneurship Support Center was opened in the Berezovsky district of the Brest region.
The Center’s employees provide local entrepreneurs with information and consulting support, help in the development of business models and business development documents, teach the basics of doing business and financial literacy. Also, the Center can get seeds and seedlings, learn how to build greenhouses and garden nurseries, consult on innovative technologies for working with crops. In addition, the Center assists entrepreneurs in the processing and sale of agricultural products.
The creation and development of business support infrastructure entities stimulates local initiative, improves the business environment and makes an important contribution to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 1, 4, 8, 9 and other SDGs.

On May 13, 2022, in the village of Dobroplesy, Vitebsk region, the Regulations on the Joint Belarusian-Russian Commission were signed to coordinate activities for the implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Russian Federation on the creation of a transboundary specially protected natural area «Reserved Lakeside».
The purpose of creating a transboundary specially protected natural area is to preserve the biological and landscape diversity of the Vitebsk and Sebezh Lakeside and promote bilateral cooperation in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources, taking into account environmental, social and cultural priorities, monitoring the environment and studying natural complexes and objects, development of environmental education and tourism.
The joint management of the transboundary specially protected natural area «Reserved Lakeland» will make an important contribution to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 15 and other SDGs.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus has announced the results of the republican competition to reduce emissions from motor vehicles for 2021.

On April 25, 2022, Belarus approved an updated Set of Measures to launch a new investment cycle.
The set of measures is aimed at increasing the sources of creating resources and capital and expanding the segment of «long money» in the economy, which provides for the creation of conditions for the development of «green» financing, as well as the introduction of tools for financing infrastructure projects. In addition, a set of measures provides for the implementation of measures for the further development of the territories of the Industrial Park «Great Stone» and free economic zones. A separate block of measures is aimed at reducing the costs of investors and improving land and property relations. Work will continue to stimulate investment in the regions of the country.

In April 2022, the Government of Belarus approved the Comprehensive Plan to Support the Economy, which pays special attention to the transport component. In particular, the plan provides for measures to develop international transport and logistics corridors and create additional conditions for building logistics chains in the supply of goods to the east.
As part of the implementation of the State Program «Roads of Belarus», in 2022 it is planned to carry out current and major repairs on 39 bridges, and by 2025 it is planned to reconstruct 107 bridges and repair about 10 thousand linear meters of road structures, as well as modernize the M-3 Minsk – Vitebsk highway on the section Minsk – Pleschenitsy, R-23 Minsk – Mikashevichi on the section from Soligorsk to Starobin, M-8/E 95 from Vitebsk to Orsha.

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, together with the social and charitable institution «Mama Pro Help» and the public association «Belarusian Union of Women» in all maternity hospitals in Belarus, are implementing a new project for young parents.
The essence of the project is to provide women who have given birth to a printed publication «Useful set of checklists MAMA PRO», which contains useful information about their health, as well as the health and development of the child in the first year of life. One of the first to get acquainted with the brochure were women from the maternity hospital of the City Clinical Hospital №1.
The publication will help young parents to receive high-quality information, and will also contribute to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 3, 4 and other SDGs.
