Innovation sets the rapid pace of economic development and ensures the demand for highly qualified personnel. Enterprises are forced to adapt to changes, change their system of personnel training and form requests to the vocational education system. Educational institutions, in order to ensure their competitiveness, must also work ahead of the curve and train specialists with competencies that will be in demand in the future.
The main guideline in the formation of a national qualification system in Belarus is the creation of an independent certification assessment system. The result of this work will be the elimination of the disproportion between the scope of vocational education and the requirements of employers. This is a gradual replacement of qualification reference books with professional standards, a new approach to training personnel and an independent assessment of their qualifications, and, in general, an increase in the level of the economy and, accordingly, the well-being of citizens. With an independent assessment, the employee will be able to confirm their skills and abilities acquired outside the formal education system and receive a certificate that provides the right to employment.
With an independent assessment, the employee will be able to confirm their skills and abilities acquired outside the formal education system and receive a certificate that provides the right to employment.
The creation of an independent certification assessment system will ensure the mobility of all categories of labor resources, and will also make a significant contribution to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 4, 8, 9 and other SDGs.
