The international dimension of sustainable development of any country, part of which is cooperation with UN agencies in achieving the SDGs, is focused on the conscious use of the best world achievements and practices, international best practices to improve national policy, legal regulation or administration, or to solve a specific more targeted local problem.

The Institute of Youth Ambassadors of the Sustainable Development Goals is aimed at young and enterprising citizens of Belarus who are looking for support in the implementation of their ideas and projects aimed at improving the lives of Belarusians. The concept itself as a whole, as well as today’s forum and the competition, are designed to include young people in the matrix of international cooperation and opportunities provided by the partnership between the Belarusian state and the UN to encourage active citizenship and develop specific proposals for young people.

I would like to wish all the guys, who will be announced SDG youth ambassadors today, to bring your projects to the end.

In the process of this work, you will gain a unique and invaluable experience. I would like to wish you to actively promote your knowledge about the SDGs, about the UN, about the opportunities for cooperation with the UN, about the opportunities for partnership between the government, the UN and youth.
