On November 11, 2021, on the International Energy Saving Day, a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the national competition for the award for achievements in the field of energy efficiency, resource conservation and environmental friendliness «Leader of energy efficiency of the Republic of Belarus – 2021» took place.
In 2021, only domestic enterprises took part in the competition, of which more than 50% were newcomers. More than 80% of participants are large and medium-sized enterprises. About 50% are state organizations. In total, more than a hundred bids were registered in three categories: «Energy Efficient Product of the Year», «Energy Efficient Technology of the Year», «Energy Efficient Building of the Year».
The winners were companies that have achieved real results in energy efficiency and resource conservation. 10 participants of the competition became holders of Honorary Diplomas, 35 contestants were awarded Diplomas of the winner.
The absolute winner of the Competition and the winner of the Grand Prix – SE «Municipal Utility Production Unitary Enterprise of Boiler and Heating Systems».
The competition is an important contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals 6, 7, 12, 13 and other SDGs.

Every year on November 13, International Day of the Blind is celebrated, which is the final day of the month of the «White Cane». The event is held by the public association «Belarusian Association of Visually Impaired» (PA «BelTIZ») together with local executive and administrative bodies in order to intensify the implementation of state and regional programs, as well as to draw public attention to the problems of the visually impaired.
About 25 thousand people with visual impairments and disabilities are registered in the territorial centers of social services for the population of Belarus. The state register includes 72 names of social rehabilitation. People with visual impairments are provided with rehabilitation facilities on preferential terms. Tiflotechnical means of rehabilitation were issued to 1314 citizens for 9 months of 2021. In order to improve the competence of employees in 2021, practical seminars were held in each region to train employees of the TTSSON in the main technologies of social rehabilitation of visually impaired people.
In addition, a base of technical normative legal acts regulating the creation of an accessible environment at facilities for people with visual impairments has been formed, and the subprogram «Accessible living environment for disabled and physically impaired persons» is being implemented within the framework of the State Program «Social Protection» for 2021–2025.
Creating conditions for the full participation of people with visual impairments in society, expanding their opportunities, increasing their employment, helps to improve the way of life of these people, and also contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals 3, 4, 8, 10, 11 and other SDGs.

A databank of objects of a universal environment accessible to people with any form of disability will be created in Belarus. The development of such a databank was initiated by the Republican Interdepartmental Council for the Problems of Persons with Disabilities.
The facilities available to all categories of people with disabilities currently include: the new bus station in Brest, clinics in Gomel and Mogilev, the National Airport and the railway station in Minsk, the building of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, etc.
The creation of a databank of objects of a universal environment accessible to people with disabilities will make an important contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals 10, 11 and other SDGs by the Republic of Belarus.

On 8-10 November, 2021, the III Regional Forum “Development of interdistrict cooperation for sustainable development of rural areas” will be held in the Mogilev region. The purpose of the Forum is to agree on the priorities for the implementation of the Plan for Regional Interaction of the Mogilev Region Districts until 2025 based on the practical experience of interdistrict cooperation of the five districts.
The regional forum was organized by the Slavgorodskiy District Executive Committee, the Local Fund for the Development of Rural Areas in cooperation with the Bykhovskiy, Klichevskiy, Krasnopolskiy and Cherikovskiy regional executive committees, within the framework of the project «Networking to improve employment opportunities in rural areas of the Mogilev region» in partnership with the projects «Workshop of microregions of development – II», «Localization of the Sustainable Development Goals in the Mogilev region».
Practitioners, experts, project developers, government officials at different levels, specialists in social spheres of society, members of non-profit organizations, the mass media will take part in the discussion of modern approaches to regional interaction and the fair of initiatives «Local Environmental Initiatives».

The XII International Investment Forum «Mill of Success» was held in November 2021 in Mogilev. The Forum was attended by almost 60 foreign participants from 7 countries of the world: Russia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Pakistan, India and Brazil. Within the framework of the Forum, an exhibition of leading manufacturers of the Mogilev region and visits to enterprises and organizations of Mogilev and the region were organized.
The main focus of the Forum was made on the presentation of the potential of the south-eastern region of the Mogilev region. All investors in Belarus have the same benefits.
The southeastern part of the Mogilev region stands out against the general background with special benefits. For this region, about 40 investment proposals have been developed. On November 4, 2021, the National Center for Intellectual Property and the Belarusian State Technological University signed an agreement on the establishment of a Technology and Innovation Support Center.
Technology and innovation support centers are opening on the basis of the country’s leading universities. They are already operating in the Republican Scientific and Technical Library and its regional branches, Belarusian State University, Vitebsk State Medical University, Polesie State University, Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Great Stone Industrial Park, Polotsk State University, Brest State Technical University and National Center for Intellectual Property.
The project to create Technology and Innovation Support Centers is being implemented jointly with the World Intellectual Property Organization and is aimed at stimulating innovation.
The functioning and development of the network of Technology and Innovation Support Centers makes it possible to ensure the availability of information about modern information technologies, which contributes to an increase in labor productivity, an increase in the quality and competitiveness of products, a transition to a new technological order, and also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals by the Republic of Belarus 4, 8 , 9, 10, 11 and other SDGs.

On November 4, 2021, with the support of the Operative-Analytical Center under the President and the Grodno Regional Executive Committee, the third Regional Forum #GBCregions (State. Business. Citizens — Regions) was held in Grodno.
The Forum was organized by the National Traffic Exchange Center, the National Electronic Services Center, and Belarusian cloud technologies.
Representatives of local executive and administrative bodies, IT companies, banks, businesses and educational institutions took part in the forum.
During the forum, the projects «Electronic recipe» and the database of foreign students, the results of their implementation were presented, as well as issues of compliance with legislation in the field of electronic document management, the use of electronic digital signatures, promotion of modern technologies in Belarus in the field of digital transformation: cloud technologies, IT infrastructure, high-speed data transmission technologies (4G and 5G), IoT and smart solutions.

On October 28, 2021, the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference «Information Technologies and Law (Legal Informatization — 2021)» was held in Minsk.
The conference was organized by the Supreme Court, the National Center for Legal Information (NCLI), the Ministry of Justice, the Republican Bar Association, the Belarusian State University and the National Library of the Republic of Belarus.
The conference was held in order to determine the state and prospects for the development of informatization in the system of courts of general jurisdiction. The work of the conference was divided into thematic sections devoted to topical issues of informatization of justice and the execution of court decisions.

In the Republic of Belarus, more than 50 thousand adolescents annually receive a variety of help and advice in the field of mental health.
Currently, Belarus is improving the tools for providing psychological assistance to adolescents. To this end, experts of the Republican Center for Psychological Assistance with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) are developing an online platform for individual psychological assistance. Close work is underway with healthcare professionals, psychologists, educators in the development of an online platform. In addition, adolescents themselves are involved in this work in order to learn about their main problems and needs.
In the future, teenagers will be able to find answers to exciting questions and receive qualified individual psychological assistance from a real specialist using the online platform.
The implementation of such programs makes a significant contribution to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals 2, 3, 4, 9, 17 and other SDGs.

A bakery-coffee house «Warm Bread» was opened in Novopolotsk, where people with disabilities work, each of whom performs an operation that is within their power.
The project for the creation of such an institution was developed at the initiative of the city organization of the public association «Belarusian Association for Assistance to Children with Disabilities and Young Disabled People».
The bakery operates on frozen convenience foods, but plans to use its own recipes in the future. Also, a plan has already been developed for the beneficial use of the bakery-coffee shop area: master classes will be held for all interested citizen on manual work with chocolate, baking gingerbread, etc.
This is not the first inclusive project in the city. In Novopolotsk, there are already two sports and playgrounds, a youth club «Dobrynya» and a school «Samoadvokat».
There are about 300 young disabled people living in Novopolotsk, most of whom can work. The creation and opening of such institutions enables people with disabilities to realize their potential and makes a significant contribution to the achievement of the Republic of Belarus Sustainable Development Goals 8, 10, 11 and other SDGs.
