In the Minsk region, in the residential complex «Green Harbor», the alley of the future «Park of a Thousand Plants» has appeared. Planted trees will annually release up to 16.5 tons of oxygen into the atmosphere and absorb up to 3 tons of carbon dioxide.
The eco-initiative «Park of a Thousand Plants» is being implemented by A-100 Development and LLC «AVTOIDEA» as part of the ESG strategy. The concept was developed by English, Swedish and Belarusian architects. The development is neatly integrated into the natural environment: roads, boulevards and alleys run through the forest.
Today the Park includes 138 trees: young spruce, pine, birch, maple and rowan. In the coming months, work on the formation of the park will continue. The opening of the facility is scheduled for the end of 2024.
Infrastructure for electric vehicles is also being developed in «Green Harbor». It is planned to install 140 electric charging stations in residential areas and parking lots – they will account for more than 20% of the places for electric vehicles.
