There are more than 4,000 electric transport users in Belarus, more than 600 charging stations have been built, and another 60 stations will appear in 2023. In order to develop electric transport in the country, several policy documents are being implemented:
The main areas of activity for the development of electric transport today include: setting up the production of components for electric transport in the country, developing an additional set of incentive measures in order to increase the financial attractiveness of purchasing electric transport for commercial purposes, creating new supercharging complexes in the regions, increasing the number of public electric transport and others.
The development of electric transport makes an important contribution to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 12, 13 and other SDGs.

On June 29, 2023, the Head of State signed the Law «On Amending Laws on Labor Relations», which provides for amendments to the Labor Code, taking into account the practice of its application.
4 new articles were added to the legislative act, and changes were noted in more than 80 articles. In particular, these changes provide for the strengthening of social and labor guarantees for employees, expanding the possibilities for using information technologies in the system of labor relations, as well as adjusting the norms of the Labor Code on wages, working hours, methods of employment, labor holidays, including holidays associated with training and etc.
The document comes into force on January 1, 2024.
The implementation of the provisions of the Law «On Amendments to Laws on Labor Relations» will contribute to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goal 8 and other SDGs.
On June 30, 2023, a meeting of the tenth session of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the seventh convocation was held.

On June 27, 2023, a meeting of members of the Interuniversity Club of SDG Friends was held at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank.
The event was attended by Youth Ambassadors of the Sustainable Development Goals, students of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank, Belarusian State University, Belarusian State Medical University, Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the activities of the Sustainable Development Goals Volunteer Team of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank, the specifics of the implementation of the SDG Volunteer School project, and also took part in the business game «Climate Collage» and the debate «Green Economy. A new direction that is actively developing in Belarus is «silver» volunteering. About 40% of older people are willing to volunteer.
Today, about 3.6 thousand «silver» volunteers work in social service institutions. Among the main areas of their activity: care, care and support for the elderly and people with disabilities; training in computer literacy and financial security; conducting language courses on the principle of «an equal teaches an equal»; participation in social activities; organization and development of creative initiatives, etc. The activities of «silver» volunteers are encouraged and supported at all levels, which is noted in the National Strategy «Active Longevity – 2030», as well as in the Information Strategy for Active Aging (IS 65+) for 2023-2025.
The development of «silver» volunteering contributes to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goal 10 and other SDGs.
June 27, 2023 the republican IT Youth forum is being held on the basis of the scientific and technical park of the BNTU «Polytechnic». The event is organized by the Belarusian Republican Youth Union with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
The forum is a platform for exchanging experience in the development of information and communication technologies, as well as promoting their effective use in Belarus.
During the forum, it is planned to consider issues in the field of information security, protection of personal data and security of personal pages, cyberbullying. In addition, within the framework of the forum, a solemn ceremony of presenting the IT Youth Internet Award will be held. The winners of this award will be the 15 best resources in 8 categories.
Holding the republican forum IT Youth contributes to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 4, 9, 16 and other SDGs.

More than 40 initiatives of the program «One District – One Project» of various fields of activity are at various stages of readiness in the Minsk region. Among the ongoing initiatives is a plant for innovative processing of non-food animal raw materials with a capacity of 80,000 tons on the basis of OJSC «Agrokombinat «Dzerzhinsky», it is planned to modernize and expand production at OJSC «AMKODOR-SEMASH», UE «Amkodor-DOMZ», CJSC «Amkodor-Elastomer», the construction of the substation «Cherkasy», the laying of a gas pipeline in the section of the free economic zone «Minsk», etc.
At the moment, six projects of the program «One project – one district» are in a high degree of elaboration in the Minsk region, it is planned to sign loan agreements for eight objects, for 13 projects it is planned to implement at the expense of own funds and the funds of the innovation fund. In total, 129 projects across the country will be implemented over the next three years.
The implementation of the program «One District – One Project» contributes to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 8, 9, 10, 11 and other SDGs.

From July 1 to October 31, 2023, a large-scale sociological research in the field of demography will be held in all regions of Belarus. The research will be conducted by the Center for Sociological and Political Studies of the Belarusian State University within the framework of the international technical assistance project «Strengthening the scientific and educational potential of the Republic of Belarus in the field of collecting, analyzing and using demographic data to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals».
This research is the second stage of the population survey conducted in 2017. About 6 thousand participants of the first stage will take part in the research.
The results of the research will allow us to identify the features of the development of the Belarusian family, determine the factors affecting reproductive behavior and family relationships, conduct a comparative analysis of trends in the formation of marriage and family relations in Belarus, and also develop recommendations for improving the state family and demographic policy of the country.

In 2023, Belarus ranked 34th among 166 countries in the ranking of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals according to the Sustainable Development Report 2023. Countries are ranked by their overall score, which measures progress towards all 17 SDGs.
Belarus scored 77.5 points out of 100 possible. This score reflects the progress of the country as a whole in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and can be interpreted as a percentage of the achievement of the SDGs.

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in partnership with the National Agency for Investment and Privatization, developed the Guidelines for the Application of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Standards by Business Entities in the Republic of Belarus.
The application of ESG standards is aimed at the systematic and integrated implementation of the principles of the green and circular economy, decarbonization, inclusion and other elements of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the work of public and private companies.
