In 2017, Elvira Grakhovskaya launched the babysitter.by service. The online platform was developed to find qualified babysitters (nannies for an hour) in Belarus and has opened up new opportunities for parents, allowing them to devote time to personal matters, study or work, without worrying about the well-being of their children. The main mission of the service is to provide affordable and high-quality child care services with a high level of trust and safety. The initiative received information support within the framework of the program for innovative assistance to small and medium-sized businesses in the context of the crisis caused by COVID-19.

CONTENTS OF THE ACTIVITY
The babysitter.by service was developed to find qualified babysitters in Belarus. The main objectives of the initiative are to train qualified babysitters and provide parents with a convenient and reliable service for finding nannies for an hour.
The online babysitting training platform is developed not only for women, but also for men. This emphasizes the desire for gender equality and the destruction of stereotypes in the profession choice. Male babysitters are an important group that has a positive influence on the child development and upbringing, providing them with the additional behavioral models and contributing to the formation of emotional intelligence. They add variety to gameplay and learning, often focusing on physical activity and new skills.
Due to the useful and user-friendly global service, the initiative opens up wide opportunities for expanding babysitting services in other cities and regions of the country.
KEY STEPS OF IMPLEMENTATION:
RESULTS AND IMPACT OF THE INITIATIVE
The project is monetized at the expense of parents and some babysitters – there is a subscription fee for using the platform. About 20% of services on the platform are provided online. Online format was introduced during the pandemic and expanded the range of services
Over four years, more than 300 babysitters were trained, a user-friendly platform interface for finding nannies was developed and launched, services were successfully adapted to the conditions of the pandemic, including the creation of online classes and learning assistance services.
The initiative improved the quality of life for families in Belarus by providing parents with reliable and affordable temporary child care. Due to a well-thought-out system of training babysitters and strict selection of specialists, it became possible to achieve a high level of service quality.
Currently, the babysitter.by platform has expanded its activities and offers babysitter, tutoring and pet care services in Minsk and throughout Belarus.
