CONTENTS OF THE ACTIVITY
The main objectives of the initiative are cleaning and vacuuming vegetables such as potatoes, onions, carrots and beets. Vacuum packaging significantly increases the shelf life of products, preserves nutritional properties and freshness. This makes the company’s products in demand among catering establishments.
KEY STEPS OF IMPLEMENTATION:
RESULTS AND IMPACT OF THE INITIATIVE
The initiative demonstrates how small resources can be used effectively to create products that are in demand both locally and in the wider market.
Purchasing organic vegetables from local producers stimulates the agricultural sector development, providing farmers with sustainable markets.
Three jobs were created for local residents, including people with disabilities. Involvement of local residents in the project promotes socialization, a sense of belonging and contributes to overall well-being.
To expand the impact of the initiative, it is planned to increase production capacity and sales volumes. The enterprise processes one ton of potatoes and 100-200 kg of onions and carrots per day. It is planned to process up to 5 tons of potatoes in the future.
