Contest for the best children’s drawing on an environmental theme is being held in Belarus

In order to form an environmental culture and cultivate a caring attitude towards nature among the younger generation, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus, together with its territorial bodies, is holding a republican contest for the best children’s drawing on an environmental theme.

Pupils of preschool educational institutions, students of general secondary education institutions and additional education of children and youth in two age groups are invited to participate in the contest: from 3 to 5 years and from 6 to 10 years.

An application for participation in the contest must be sent before February 1, 2024 to the district, city, city and district inspectorates of natural resources and environmental protection and the Minsk City Committee of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.

Holding a republican contest for the best children’s drawing on an environmental theme helps to popularize the ideas and values of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
