On October 4-5, 2023, the XVIII International Scientific and Practical Conference «Current Problems of Ecology-2023» was held at the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.
The conference was attended by more than 100 researchers from Belarus, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Zimbabwe – teachers, graduate students, undergraduates and students of higher educational institutions, researchers and representatives of enterprises and organizations.
The Conference program included two plenary sessions and three sections, each of which was devoted to a specific aspect of ecology: environmental pollution and the development of new technologies for water and air purification, sustainable development in the context of food technologies, mitigation of climate change and sustainable use of natural resources, conservation of biodiversity and protection of natural resources, improvement of environmental monitoring methods, environmental education for sustainable development.
The holding of the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Current Problems of Ecology 2023» helps to expand the interaction of scientists in scientific projects, attract young talents into the scientific environment, which makes an important contribution to the implementation of the Agenda for Sustainable Development for the period up to 2030.
