On August 2, 2023, a meeting of the Council for Sustainable Development was held in Minsk. During the event, the participants got acquainted with the results of the UN work in the Republic of Belarus for 2022 and discussed the development of a green and inclusive economy, digital transformation and social innovation, gender equality in society and focus on future generations.
The members of the Council on Sustainable Development also discussed the preparation of Belarus for the Summit on the Sustainable Development Goals, which will be held on September 18 and 19, 2023 at the UN Headquarters in New York.
