The specialists of «Beltelecom» prepared materials on the topic «Modern aspects of cybersecurity» and posted them in a specially created section «Cybersecurity» on the official website of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus.
The development of modern information and computer technologies is reflected in almost all spheres of society, and their widespread use not only leads to increased levels of society, but also to an increase in the number of crimes committed in the field of computer information. Various organizations of both state and private forms of ownership, as well as individual citizens of the country, are under the blows of cyberattacks.
«Beltelecom» provides the service «Raising awareness in the field of information security» and an opportunity to form and consolidate the skills of safe work in the digital environment, to inform the population about the ways to counter cybercrime.
At the same time, it should be understood that in order to effectively counter actively progressing cybercrime, it is important to participate in the exchange of information about attacks and immediately report them to law enforcement, which will contribute to increasing the information security of the population, as well as the achievement of SDGs 8 and 16 by the Republic of Belarus.
