In September – December 2024, a household survey to assess the health and status of women in the family will be conducted in Belarus and will cover 10.5 thousand households. During this time, specialists will actively collect data, which will subsequently be processed by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
In order to prepare for this survey, the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, together with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), organized a seminar for specialists who will conduct the survey.
During the seminar, participants discussed survey methodology, principles of filling out questionnaires, survey techniques, and key aspects of teamwork.
Conducting a household survey to assess the health status and position of women in the family will contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals 3, 5 and the other SDGs by the Republic of Belarus.
