Acceptance of applications for participation in the “Green Eurasia” contest started

In order to identify effective practices aimed at sustainable development of the Eurasian Economic Union member states, the International Climate Contest “Green Eurasia” is held.

Commercial organizations, state institutions, authorities, local self-government bodies, non-profit organizations and associations, individuals from the EAEU member states and third countries may take part in the contest.

Registration and application submission are open until March 9, 2025 on the contest website. Each participant may submit a maximum of five projects in the following nominations:

• Governmental and corporate practices and financing in the field of climate;
• Climate monitoring and management of climate active substances;
• Sustainable energy;
• Climate-neutral transportation systems and solutions;
• Low-carbon industry and materials;
• Circular economy;
• Climate-resilient cities and infrastructure;
• Climate-oriented agriculture and forestry;
• Water resources in new climate conditions;
• Education and human resources in the field of climate.

Holding of the International Climate Contest “Green Eurasia” makes an important contribution to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
