An online platform for providing psychological assistance to adolescents is being developed in Belarus

In the Republic of Belarus, more than 50 thousand adolescents annually receive a variety of help and advice in the field of mental health.

Currently, Belarus is improving the tools for providing psychological assistance to adolescents. To this end, experts of the Republican Center for Psychological Assistance with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) are developing an online platform for individual psychological assistance. Close work is underway with healthcare professionals, psychologists, educators in the development of an online platform. In addition, adolescents themselves are involved in this work in order to learn about their main problems and needs.

In the future, teenagers will be able to find answers to exciting questions and receive qualified individual psychological assistance from a real specialist using the online platform.

The implementation of such programs makes a significant contribution to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals 2, 3, 4, 9, 17 and other SDGs.
