Anatoly Isachenko, National Coordinator for Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic, told the magazine «Belaruskaya Dumka » about the strategy for implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the Republic of Belarus, about the country’s contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and in which areas SDG Belarus has achieved the most progress.
In his interview, Anatoly Isachenko focused on the importance of implementing the Agenda at the national and regional levels, as well as involving young people in achieving the SDGs, which largely determines the country’s future and prospects for its development.
However, according to the National SDG Coordinator, the use of unilateral coercive measures, political pressure and open interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states can neutralize the achieved results and critically negatively affect the entire chain of global sustainability.
