Belarus approved the Concept for the development of the education system in Belarus until 2030

By the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated November 30, 2021 №683, the Concept for the development of the country’s education system until 2030 was approved.

The concept for the development of the country’s education system until 2030 defines the goals, main tasks, directions of development, ways to achieve goals and solve the main tasks:

• preschool education;
• general secondary education;
• special education;
• vocational and secondary specialized education;
• higher education;
• additional education for children and youth;
• additional education for adults;
• staffing the education system;
• digitalization of the education system;
• educational work;
• economics of education.

To ensure the quality of education, by the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated December 4, 2021 №693, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus approved the creation of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education.

The approval of the Concept for the development of the country’s education system until 2030, as well as the creation of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, make a significant contribution to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4 and other SDGs by the Republic of Belarus.
