On May 24-25, 2023, Bobruisk hosted the Belarusian Investment Forum aimed at promoting investment opportunities in the Republic of Belarus. The forum was organized by the State Institution «National Investment and Privatization Agency» and the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee.
The Belarusian Investment Forum brought together more than 300 participants from 22 countries, including the UAE, Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt, China, Vietnam, Palestine, Russia, Brazil, Hungary and others.
The forum events included a plenary session, the XIV International Economic Forum «Mill of Success», sections «Import Substitution or Technological Sovereignty» and «Development Institutions: Time for Insights», an exhibition of industrial products, a conference of regional leaders «80 Plus». As part of these events, the participants got acquainted with the investment opportunities of Belarus, the current preferential regimes, resources available to foreign investors, exchanged experience in new geopolitical conditions, received information about promising economic niches and investment projects that can be implemented in Belarus, as well as free consultations and analytical materials on the topic of doing business in Belarus.
The holding of the Belarusian Investment Forum will contribute to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 8, 9, 10, 11, 17 and other SDGs.
