Directions for the development of the industrial complex for 2024 have been determined in Belarus

The industrial complex of the Republic of Belarus demonstrates high efficiency indicators. As of September 2023, the production growth rate exceeded 108%. The best achievements were noted in the production of cars, carriages, trucks, agricultural machinery, and televisions.

Among the key directions for the development of the industrial complex for 2024, the following have been identified:

• maximum capacity utilization through the production of products in demand in the markets;
• increasing the level of localization in the mechanical engineering complex – the implementation of about 10 projects is planned;
• increasing the depth of processing of local raw materials – it is expected to complete the implementation of 8 projects;
• modernization in 39 industrial organizations of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus;
• creation of joint productions with Chinese companies in machine tool and mechanical engineering, production of electric vehicles, parts for agricultural machinery.

The development of the industrial complex reflects the ability to meet the target needs of society, economic efficiency, preservation of the environment and resource base and contributes to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 8, 9, 11 and other SDGs.
