Dozens of types of innovative products are developed annually in Belarus

Innovative development is one of the most important priorities of the Republic of Belarus. Dozens of innovative products are developed annually in the country. Innovative projects for the creation of new industries that correspond to the priority areas of scientific, scientific, technical and innovative activities for 2021-2025, as well as the strategic goals of innovative development and ways to achieve them are enshrined in the State Program for Innovative Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2021-2025. Several significant developments are planned to be completed in 2023, including a complex based on an unmanned aerial vehicle for the use of plant protection products in agriculture, an electric bus for transporting passengers at airports, etc. An important task for 2023 is also the development of a comprehensive forecast of scientific and technological progress.

The development of innovative activity is an important contribution to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goal 9 and other SDGs.
