Ecological bulletin on the state of the natural environment of the Republic of Belarus has been prepared
To inform the population about the state of the environment and measures for its protection, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus has prepared the ecological bulletin “State of the Natural Environment of Belarus”.
The publication presents the main results:
- regional comprehensive assessment of the state of the natural environment of the Republic of Belarus for 2023, including by region and the city of Minsk, using geographic information systems (GIS);
- calculation of the environmental development rating of individual regions of the Republic of Belarus for 2023 in the context of regional centers and the city of Minsk by category: current state and use of environmental components, impact of major economic activities on the environment, environmental impact management and environmental policy effectiveness.
Dissemination of up-to-date information on the state of the environment makes an important contribution to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
