Ecotourism development as a contribution to green transition to inclusive and sustainable growth

Belarus is one of the European countries with the largest area of untouched wildlife. And specially protected natural areas (nature reserves, national parks, wildlife sanctuaries, nature monuments) are of great interest for the ecological tourism development.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus is working on forming the national ecological network of Belarus, which will restore “disturbed links” and integrate this network into the pan-European ecological network. This activity is aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals 13 “Combating Climate Change” and 15 “Conservation of Terrestrial Ecosystems”.
