Resolution of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus dated June 25, 2025, No. 113 approved an updated Instruction on the procedure for social and pedagogical support for students and providing them with psychological assistance.
The Instruction defines the procedure for the social and pedagogical support of students and the provision of psychological assistance to them in educational institutions and other organizations that, in accordance with the legislation, are granted the right to carry out educational activities. Students can turn to a social educator for social and pedagogical support, and to a teacher-psychologist for psychological help. In their work, specialists should be guided by the Code on Education, the Code on Marriage and Family, laws and legal acts.
The document also contains the tasks and principles of providing socio-pedagogical support to students and providing them with psychological assistance and describes in detail the conditions and other features of the work of specialists.
Providing socio-pedagogical and psychological support to students makes an important contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals 3, 4 and the other SDGs by the Republic of Belarus.
