Issues of conservation of ecosystems in Belarus discussed in Minsk
On April 20, 2022, a press conference «Green Belarus. Preservation of natural ecosystems, biological and landscape diversity, creation of a clean and comfortable environment», dedicated to the International Day of Mother Earth, which is celebrated annually on April 22. The holiday was established by the decision of the United Nations General Assembly in 2009 and is intended to remind that each of us owes our existence to our planet and its ecosystems.
During the conference, participants discussed the development of ecotourism in Belarus in order to promote a green transition towards inclusive and sustainable growth, as well as ways to conserve and sustainably use natural ecosystems, biological and landscape diversity.

The conservation and sustainable use of natural ecosystems, biological and landscape diversity makes an important contribution to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 12, 15 and other SDGs.
