On January 19, 2023, on the basis of the State Institution «Minsk City Center for Social Services for Families and Children», a round table was held on the topic «Employment and employment of people with severe disabilities and mental disorders: current issues and prospects», organized by the Belarusian Association of Social Workers as part of the project «Family Potential and Mental Health: From Isolation to Social Integration».
During the round table, specialists in the field of social support, rehabilitation and employment of people with disabilities and mental illness discussed international experience, opportunities for social and labor rehabilitation and employment of people with disabilities on the basis of social service institutions, training programs, etc. Expert presentations are available at the link.
Creating conditions for the employment of people with disabilities and mental disorders makes an important contribution to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 8, 10 and other SDGs.
