Issues of using mediation in education, criminal procedure, and business were discussed at a forum in Minsk

On March 10, 2022, the Practical Mediation Forum was held in Minsk. The Forum was attended by representatives of the educational and practical institution «Center «Mediation and Law», the public association «Belarusian Republican Union of Lawyers», the Belarusian Chamber of Notaries, the National Center for Legal Information of the Republic of Belarus and other organizations.

The work of the Forum was held in the following sections:

• Mediation in the educational sphere as an investment in the future;
• Restorative mediation as a tool for restorative justice;
• Business mediation as a strategy for the development of the business environment.

The use of mediation is an important contribution to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 10, 16 and other SDGs.
