On October 25-26, 2023, classes in the second block of the Republican educational project «Lessons of Sustainable Development» will start in Belarus. The classes will be held on the topic «Personal and professional development» and will be related to the issues of SDG 4 «Quality education», SDG 8 «Decent work and economic growth», SDG 9 «Industrialization, innovation and infrastructure».
The classes of the first thematic block «My world and my personal boundaries» were devoted to SDG 3 «Good health and well-being» and SDG 5 «Gender equality». During discussions, interactive exercises and assignments, project participants became familiar with the basic principles of health-saving behavior, the concepts of «gender» and «sex», analyzed the influence of gender stereotypes on self-realization in professional activities, etc.
The implementation of the Republican educational project «Lessons of Sustainable Development» helps to increase youth awareness of the SDGs, the formation of a «sustainable» lifestyle, as well as the popularization of the ideas and values of the Agenda for Sustainable Development for the period up to 2023.
