May is announced as the month of agroecotourism in Belarus
The Ministry of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus has announced May as the month of agroecotourism, emphasizing its importance for the development of the country’s tourism potential and popularization of Belarusian culture.
During the month of agroecotourism an extensive program of events is planned: press conferences, informational meetings, online seminars, round tables, district competitions for the best agroecohouses. Monitoring of agroecohouses, checking compliance with legislation, compliance with quality standards and readiness to receive guests in the summer season will begin.
In addition, until May 26, 2025, open days will be held in Belarusian agroecohouses. It makes possible to get acquainted with the peculiarities of agroecohouses, taste local delicacies and take part in master classes on folk crafts.
