Measures have been taken to implement the State Program for Innovative Development until 2025

The Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated November 12, 2021 №642 defines measures for the implementation of the State Program for Innovative Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2021–2025.

The approved document includes:

• a list of projects for the creation of new industries that are of decisive importance for the innovative development of the Republic of Belarus;
• a schedule for the implementation of these projects;
• a list of measures for the development of the innovation infrastructure of the Republic of Belarus;
• the amount of funding for the mentioned projects and activities;
• target indicators for republican government bodies and other state organizations subordinate to the Government, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The list of projects for the creation of new industries that are of decisive importance for the innovative development of the Republic of Belarus includes 63 items, including:

• creation of modern production facilities for the production of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, as well as production of automated elevator-type vertical storage warehouses for 2017–2021;
• construction of an experimental facility «Resource-independent quarter «House Park»;
• organization of high-tech agro-industrial production of a full cycle for 2016–2032;
• organization of production of innovative equipment and components for it for the oil and gas industry;
• construction of a diagnostic, ward, operating and resuscitation building in Minsk for the creation of a center for hybrid cardiac surgery at the State Institution «Republican Scientific and Practical Center «Cardiology».

The implementation of these projects is aimed at achieving by the Republic of Belarus Sustainable Development Goals 2, 7, 9, 11, 12 and other SDGs.
