On March 16-17, 2022, under the coordination of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, a republican seminar-meeting «Developing the abilities of gifted children in the system of environmental education. An experience. Problems. Prospects».
The event included a presentation of effective forms and methods of organizing work with gifted children in the field of environmental education, achievements in the field of research activities, a demonstration of best practices in environmental education. Also, an interactive meeting, an exhibition, an eco-bar «Laboratory of Taste», a creative laboratory of the scientific society of students «ASTRA», a workshop of the scientific society of students «Prometheus», etc. were organized for the participants of the seminar-meeting.
High-quality environmental education contributes to the formation of environmental habits in students, the development of eco-friendly behavior and makes a significant contribution to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 4, 12, 13, 14, 15 and other SDGs.
