New sociological study on the development of education was launched by the BISS

On September 1, 2025, as part of the national project “People’s Five-Year Plan”, the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies (BISS) launched a new sociological study “Actual problems and reserves of development of the education system of the Republic of Belarus”.

The study will be conducted using the online platform merkavanne.bel. It is valid until September 14, 2025, and provides for the use of several techniques:

• collecting anonymous suggestions and initiatives from citizens
• online survey based on a questionnaire based on the results of the first national School of Rectors
• blitz survey

The results obtained will be reflected in the interactive “heat map” of participants’ activity created on the portal by region.

Conducting a sociological study “Actual problems and reserves of development of the education system of the Republic of Belarus” will contribute to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of the Sustainable Development Goal 4 and the other SDGs.
