Program of Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2026-2030 has been approved

The decision of the All-Belarusian National Assembly of December 19, 2025, No. 1 approved the Program of Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2026-2030.
The program was developed based on the key guidelines defined in the National Security Concept of the Republic of Belarus and the National Strategy for Sustainable Development of the Republic of Belarus for the period up to 2040. This approach ensures consistent progress, making it possible to link medium-term measures with the long-term interests of the state and society.
The objective of the Program is the transition to a new quality of life for every citizen of Belarus. To achieve this objective, close and constructive interaction between the state, business and society is necessary, combining the efforts of all segments of the population to effectively address the challenges of socio-economic development of the country.
The priorities for 2026–2030 include:
- National demographic security – preserving the population, strengthening the health of the nation and supporting the family.
- Human potential development, high-quality education, upbringing of a harmonious and patriotic personality.
- Creating a high-quality and comfortable living environment.
- Increased competitiveness, accelerated technological development and digital transformation
- Strong regions.
- Strengthening the state’s defense capability and developing the defense sector of the economy.
- Realization of tourism potential.
The implementation of the provisions of the Program of Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2026-2030 will contribute to achieving the objectives of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
