Project on the formation of a culture of family values among young people has started in Minsk

On March 12, 2026, the Youth Wing of the Minsk city organization of the NGO “Belarusian Union of Women” launched a new socio—educational project “Girl — Adolescent — Woman”, aimed at forming a culture of family values and strengthening the institution of the family.

The project is aimed at women, young couples and future families. Its purpose is to help participants understand their own model of family values, share it, and, based on knowledge from the fields of education, healthcare, and culture, preserve, correct, and pass it on to the next generation.

The initiative includes several thematic blocks, each of which brings together a number of events. The first block is educational and is devoted to issues of personal development, building harmonious family relationships, the spiritual foundations of marriage, psychological and reproductive health, as well as the value of giving birth to a new life.

The project also includes the following:

• creation of a meeting place for unmarried girls and men in the format of an interest club
• educational program for future families
• launch of an online information platform on social networks for specialist consultations
• conducting online surveys among young people about family values
• organization of a dating site “Quick Dates”
• the talk show “Girl— Adolescent — Woman”

The project “Girl — Adolescent — Woman” will become an open platform for dialogue, exchange of experience, formation of an informed attitude towards family creation and parenthood, strengthening family values, which is one of the key elements of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
