Promising areas of cooperation were discussed by UNDP and the Ministry of Economy

On September 15, 2021, Deputy Minister of Economy Tatyana Brantsevich and First Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Boleslav Pirshtuk met with UNDP Resident Representative in Belarus Alexandra Solovieva at the Ministry of Economy.

The main goal of the meeting was to discuss promising areas for further cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and UNDP in the field of sustainable development.

The meeting participants discussed possible areas of cooperation on such topics as the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, assessment of development financing, green and circular economy, green finance, building an emissions trading system, social entrepreneurship, the Chernobyl investment platform and agreed on further joint actions and initiatives.
