In recent years, propane-butane gas for automobiles has been gaining increasing popularity. In order to make this type of fuel as accessible as possible, the gas station company «Belorusneft» is introducing new approaches. One of them is remote refueling of cars without the direct participation of a gas station operator, allowing customers to independently refuel their vehicle with propane-butane gas.
To date, 12 gas filling stations have been fully equipped and have the ability to operate in a similar remote format. By the end of 2023, it is planned to increase their number to 51, and there will be at least 226 such gas stations in 2025.
When using gas fuel, fewer pollutants are released into the atmosphere, which contributes to the Republic of Belarus achieving Sustainable Development Goal 13 and other SDGs.
