Republican junior forest competition «Blossom my forest» will be held in Belarus

In order to support talented youth and draw attention to the problems of preserving the natural resources of Belarus, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus, together with state production forestry associations, is holding the Republican Junior Forestry Competition «Blossom my forest».

To take part in the competition, students of school forestries and educational institutions must send an application for participation and an abstract on the subject of nominations to the state production forestry associations:

• «Sustainable Forest Management»;
• «Ecology of forest plants»;
• «Ecology of forest animals».

The winners of the republican competition will be announced on May 20, 2022 as part of a student scientific and practical conference and will have the opportunity to participate in the International Junior Forest Competition.

The competition contributes to the formation of a caring attitude towards the forest and its inhabitants, the development of forestry experimental skills and contributes to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 4, 8, 12, 15 and other SDGs.
