The Ministry of Forestry summarized the results of the national voluntary action “Forest Week-2021”, which was held in April 2021 for the fourteenth time. A total of 58,778 people, mostly volunteers, took part in the campaign. Over 7 days, more than 33 million trees were planted. The results of the campaign can be viewed on the website of the Ministry of Forestry.
Campaigns such as Forest Week, which expand the scope of afforestation and reforestation, are an important contribution to Sustainable Development Goal 15, Conservation of Terrestrial Ecosystems.
