Rules for ensuring an accessible environment for people with disabilities in the housing stock were submitted for public discussion

A draft resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus «On ensuring an accessible environment for the disabled in the housing stock» has been submitted for public discussion.

The draft proposes to approve the Rules for ensuring access and use of living quarters, ancillary premises in multi-apartment residential buildings, entrances and exits from multi-apartment residential buildings in which such residential premises are located.

The organizer of the public discussion is the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Belarus. Comments and suggestions can be expressed in a special topic on the Legal Forum or sent by e-mail to ugx@mjkx.gov.by until October 30, 2022.

Creating an accessible environment for people with disabilities in the housing stock” contributes to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 10, 11 and other SDGs.
