May 18-19, 2023 at the EE «International State Ecological Institute named after A.D. Sakharov» Belarusian State University will host the International Scientific Conference «Sakharov Readings 2023: Environmental Problems of the 21st Century», dedicated to the impact of the technical process on the environment and the development of measures to reduce the negative human impact on nature. The conference will bring together about 250 teachers from Belarus, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The event will include a plenary session, three round tables and nine thematic sections to discuss environmental education, medical epidemiology and physics, radiation biology and radioecology, environmental chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics and molecular biology. The participants will also discuss the latest scientific achievements in the field of energy efficient technologies and energy management, information systems and technologies in the assessment and management of environmental quality.
The International Scientific Conference «Sakharov Readings 2023: Environmental Problems of the 21st Century» will contribute to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 4, 9, 13, 15 and other SDGs.
