Second season of Belarus Green Awards contest of ecological start-ups is held in Belarus

From April 5 to May 5, 2021 the 2nd season of Belarus Green Awards contest of ecological start-ups is held in Belarus. This is a large-scale national competition of business ideas in the field of ecology, which unites all regions of Belarus.

The aim of the competition is to find solutions to global environmental problems through innovative projects. Projects from the following spheres can take part in the competition:
 — Production;
 — Technological solutions;
 — Food products;
 — Non-food products;
 — Household Goods;
 — Cosmetics.

During the first stage (up to May 5) the applications are collected; the second stage (from May 10) is voting; the third stage is defending works before the jury and awarding of winners during the opening of the international ecological exhibition Ecology Expo 2021. The competition is organized by the ecoproject “Pasternak”, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus and “Belexpo”.

The implementation of innovative business ideas in the field of ecology helps to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals 9 “Industrialization, Innovation and Infrastructure”, 12 “Responsible Consumption and Production”, 13 “Combating Climate Change”.
