Special сourse on the formation of a comfortable and efficient urban environment has been developed in Belarus

The Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus together with the Belarusian Union of Architects and the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Belarus have developed a special training course “Comfortable and Efficient Urban Environment”. Its objective is systematization and actualization of knowledge and skills in the sphere of management of comfortable urban environment development.

The special course is an intensive one-day training of ten academic hours, where a minimum of theory and a maximum of practice is given. Its program provides familiarization and analysis of cases of various native and foreign design companies to create an effective environment in the construction, reconstruction and modernization of public, residential and medical facilities. The participants of the special course will also get a unique experience of adapting international practices in Belarus and will be able to exchange professional problematic aspects with each other and find a way out of them.

Special courses can be taken by practicing specialists, such as chief architects of cities and deputy heads of local executive and administrative bodies in charge of construction issues.

The formation of an efficient and favorable urban environment makes an important contribution to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 11 and other SDGs by the Republic of Belarus.
