Statistical digest on the social status and standard of living of the population published in Belarus

The National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus has prepared a statistical digest “The social status and standard of living of the population of the Republic of Belarus”.

The digest contains official statistical information characterizing various aspects of the standard and quality of life of the population of the Republic of Belarus in 2019-2024.

In addition, in the digest:

• main socio-economic indicators characterizing demographic processes, the labor market, the dynamics and structure of monetary incomes of the population, household spending and consumption, as well as the prevalence of low-income among the population (households) are reflected
• information is provided on housing conditions, the state of health and medical care of the population, pension provision and social protection of certain categories of the population, education, culture and the state of the environment
• statistical indicators characterizing the development of the consumer market of goods and services, the network of tourism and recreation institutions, and the widespread use of information and communication technologies are included
• individual indicators of the national list of indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals are presented

Providing reliable and timely statistical information makes an important contribution to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
