The Academy of Education Began Functioning in Belarus

On the basis of the scientific and methodological institution «National Institute of Education» of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the state educational institution «Academy of Postgraduate Education», the state educational institution «Academy of Education» began to function.

The Academy should become the country’s leading coordinating center for continuous practice-oriented training of teaching staff, conducting fundamental and applied scientific research in priority areas of development of the education system, developing and introducing innovative components of scientific and methodological support for preschool, general secondary, special education, additional education for children, youth and adults, educational work.

The functioning of the state educational institution «Academy of Education» will contribute to the achievement by the Republic of Belarus of Sustainable Development Goals 4, 8, 9 and other SDGs.
