Action to bring order to the land, beautification and greening has started

From March 1 to May 8, 2024, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus is conducting an action to restore order to the land, beautify and green the settlements.

In all regions of the country, measures are taken to clean up and beautify territories, plant young trees and shrubs, check compliance with municipal waste management schemes, the condition of container sites, and the availability of containers for separate waste collection.

Particular attention is paid to the condition of territories along railways, right-of-way lanes, roadside lanes, bus stops along republican and local highways, publicly accessible territories of settlements, garden associations, garage cooperatives, agricultural enterprises and organizations, territories of the state forest fund.

The implementation of measures for beautification, greening, maintenance and cleanliness of the country’s territories makes an important contribution to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals 11, 12, 13, 15 and other SDGs by the Republic of Belarus.
