The formation of the National Technical Committee for Standardization in the field of artificial intelligence has begun in Belarus

Today, artificial intelligence technologies as separate technical solutions are being actively implemented in the industrial and social spheres. This, in turn, actualizes the issues of developing standards in this area. To solve this problem, the Joint Institute of Computer Science Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, which is determined by the Office of Digitalization, has begun the formation of a national expert platform – the Technical Committee for Standardization.
The Technical Committee will represent an association of enterprises and organizations interested in developing standards in the field of artificial intelligence. Its main functions will include developing standards, reviewing their drafts, including interstate and international ones, ensuring the interests of the Republic of Belarus in cooperation with similar international, regional and national technical committees of other states, etc.
The Joint Institute of Computer Science Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus invites interested organizations to join the Technical Committee, participate in its work and thereby contribute to innovation and technology. Applications are accepted until July 25, 2025, by the e-mail secretary.tcii@newman.bas-net.by.
The development of standards, including in the field of artificial intelligence, contributes to the creation of favorable conditions for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in the Republic of Belarus.
